The Digital Fabrication Laboratory actively participates, by employing its 3D printing capacity, in a collective effort from the Technical University of Crete to fabricate protective face shields that are distributed to health workers and first responders in the area of Chania and Crete, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This effort has been warmly accepted by the public and has attracted media attention. Read about it in the news below (in Greek).
